What material is the lamp tube made of?
High-purity 4N low-OH quartz with SiO₂ content ≥ 99.99% and hydroxyl (OH) content ≤ 5 ppm. The tube is supplied uncoated.
What voltage do the lamps run on?
AC 380 V ±10%. Rated power is customised to each order, with deviation held to ≤ ±3%.
How uniform is the heating?
Temperature difference between any two points measured 70 mm from the lamp surface is ≤ ±2 °C.
How much does the tube sag at temperature?
For the Φ30 tube, sag is ≤ 2.5 mm at room temperature and ≤ 4 mm at full power, measured with supports 30 mm inboard from each end.
What service life can we expect?
Design continuous life is ≥ 40,000 hours (approximately 5 years) with power decay ≤ 20% at 40,000 hours. The lamps are built for continuous, non-stop operation.
Can you build a non-standard size?
Yes. Send the required total length, heated length, tube diameter, voltage and process temperature profile — we size the lamp and quote against your drawing.
